With last spring’s legislation, finding a location to meet every month has been a bit of a challenge. That being said, the fine entrepreneurs of Grand Rapids have stepped up, and we meet during the following seasons at the following locations:
- Cold Seasons: The Chop House, click here for map – You cannot ask for a better location for great service, drinks and atmosphere.
- Warm Seasons: Holly’s Landing, click here for map – Holly’s was welcoming to us, as we enjoyed cigars on the riverside of ’10. Updates to come.
- Fridays: Indian River Tobacco Traders, click here for map – If you are needing a weekly cigar fix, come and join us until 8pm.
I just started smoking cigars again, and buy mostly online, but I am looking for a good local shop in GR. Suggestions?

There are two or three good shops in Grand Rapids. Buffalo Tobacco Traders on Fulton and Diamond, Tuttle’s on 28th St E near Hooter’s, and Indian River Outpost #2 on 28th St W and 131. All of those have fairly decent selections, with Buffalo and Tuttles having the larger inventory. Tuttle’s and Buffalo also tend to be a little expensive, with Indian RIver’s pricing tending closer to what is available online. All of them can be found online as well.
