Or…. GR Cigar Society members are invited to enjoy a relaxing smoke at Tuttle’s Select Cigars’ ample smoking lounge. Its a 17-year old business but is under new, very friendly ownership; just ask for Mark. Tuttle’s is on 28th St. in the same building as Hooters. It boasts the city’s largest walk-in, cedar-lined humidor plus 3 more freestanding humidors. All are very well-stocked and the selection of fine cigars & pipe tobaccos is awesome! (I’m partial to Ashton 40 myself.) Hope to see you there!

Just wanted to let you and your members know that we have found a location for our cigar store, we are looking to open around the first week of November. We had to scale back the size of our store, but we will have a large lounge for your members to enjoy any purchases they might make.
The address of our location is 131 South Division, Grand Rapids, MI. just a few blocks down from the downtown area.

Currently there are few places that support us. The Chop House, which is downtown right across from the Amway on Monroe. The India River Tobacco Traders Outpost on 28th Street and 131. Buffalo Tobacco Traders On Fulton and Diamond, and Tuttles on 28th Street next door to Hooter’s. All of these places both sell and allow smoking in the respective locations.

The Chop House is our local home and the location of our regular meetings.

Other than that, there are not too many others that I am aware of. On Fridays, there is an informal gathering at the Radisson on Ann St. where we will sit on the deck by the river that is strictly BYOC. THere is also news of another place opening downtown soon but I do not have many details about that.
